I have enjoyed raising wonderful family pets for everyone. When these two litter have found their new home I will be retiring . I will always be happy to answer any questions to new poodle owners. Thank you for all of your support for the past 8 years. Poodle are forever my fur babies!!
My Son and Daughter-in law will continue to have stud service. They have added SIg (also know as Kylo REN) a dark chocolate standard poodle to their stud service when he is old enough.
(In Summer of 2014, the prior owners of OSP retired from breeding and had their female spayed. Luckily, OSP lives on! As of December 2014, Local Oklahoma breeder Marcia LaMunyon is taking over Oklahoma Standard Poodles. She is well known in the Oklahoma area for her love of animals, especially standard poodles. )
I make Personalized Leather Dog Collars for your fur babies. If interested contact me @ 918-212-4976.

Woof! Welcome to our home!
Thanks for stopping by Oklahoma Standard Poodles. We're a boutique breeder of Standard Poodles.
Why Choose Oklahoma Standard Poodles?
I am an avid animal lover, and I have had poodles all of my life. I have always had animals as I was raised on a farm and currently live on a small farm just south of Norman, Oklahoma. We acquired our first Standard Poodle four years ago, and I wouldn't trade her for the world! Standard Poodles are an amazing breed - intelligent, driven and responsive. They fit well into families, and they don't shed.
We began breeding several years ago. I am a registered nurse, and I ensure that my dogs have the very best care. We have a small grooming facility on our property as well. Our dogs have the run of our farm and are well socialized as we host many public and private events at our farm as Hey U Hayrides. We're country close to Oklahoma City, and enjoy visiting with the dogs we've bred over the years.
Like the previous owners of OSP, we searched for a reputable breeder of poodles. During our search, we ran across many unscrupulous or uneducated breeders, many of whom were raising dogs in unfortunate or inhumane conditions. As animal lovers who raise horses, donkeys and various other farm and show animals, we know the ins-and-outs of animal husbandry. There were lots of far away farms, hucksters out for a quick buck, puppy mill breeders selling damaged and diseased dogs...it was disheartening.
I have always had poodles . They are the smartest, friendliest and best companion dogs this family could ever ask for!
After much research, we endeavor to bring to the local market what was so hard for us to find in our own search - a clean, friendly source of great-looking pets who have been given a tender start in a family environment.
What sets us apart as a boutique breeder? We're not backyard breeders or a puppy mill. I have two sweetheart females we've raised from a puppy and I have a neuter male that was from Gigi's first litter that lives with me, and a stud dog that is my son and daughter-in-laws that lives with them . Since we only have two breeding female, litters are infrequent and finite. We care about the future homes of our litters and won't sell to just anyone - we test for and match based upon temperament and suitability. When we say our pups have forever homes with us, we don't mean a shed or a dog run or a Florida room...they rule the roost with the run of the house.
What about shelter adoptions? Shelter dogs can be great choices for many families, and they're certainly more affordable. Chances are you're here because you're looking specifically for an allergy-friendly pet or a puppy you can raise in the way you feel best.
"Nationwide, there were very few breeders I would have considered selling my business to. Marcia was the first and only choice for us - her dogs have extraordinary temperaments and gorgeous coats. Marcia's love of all animals really shines, and her medical background and outstanding hobby farm operation only add to the complete poodle puppy experience!"
