Participating in Therapy Training
Once your poodle is a bit older and has had some training, it's rewarding to participate in therapy dog training and practice. Therapy dogs visit hospitals, schools, trauma sites, anywhere they are needed. Poodles are especially suited to the job due to their disposition and hypoallergenic traits. There are four organizations in Oklahoma that participate in service dog training and therapy dog training:
